Where: Wishing Tree Cafe, White Bear Lake, MN
Age of Bap Boy: 4
Review: Similar to Pinwheel Play in Chanhassen, this is a newish kid play space out in the burbs. This place had a variety of things to do and my son loved the track for the cars and animals to travel on. In Korea, one of the kid cafes had a unicorn that you could ride (same company that made these animals at Wishing Tree) so he was excited to ride the horses and the zebra here. The storytelling time was a nice touch, too. I did like the built-in café and we ordered a crepe with ham, scrambled eggs and a bit of cheese. It came with a side of cut up bananas. I also tried one of their mochas and it was good. The entrance was $7. They have punch cards where if you buy enough visits in advance, it's like 20% off. Since I know we won't be going out there often, one-off purchases is fine for us. If it weren't so far away from our home's location, I'd go a tad more often.
