Where: Minnesota History Center
Age of Bap Boy: 23 months
Review: So we went to the MN History Center in Downtown Saint Paul, and it was a lot of fun! Our 23 month old had a spectacular time. The Toy Exhibit was pure nostalgia for us and proved that some toys are timeless, like the slinky.
The Open House: If These Walls Could Talk was also a fun exhibit. The mock backyard was where BB enjoyed playing with the clothespins and getting a ride in the wagon. We'll be going back again soon!
As you enter the Toys Exhibit...
BB's favorite area of the Toys exhibit was discovering a slinky.
He also loved seeing some of his favorite characters. Sesame Street is loved by generations, that's for sure.
Rotary phones! What an antique! Though, that's all my household had until I was about a junior in high school...
The Then Now Wow exhibit was great for elementary aged kids, but still a safe place for a toddler to explore, too.
The Open House: If These Walls Could Talk was a cool exhibit. The backyard had hopscotch, drop the pin in the bucket, pin the tail on the donkey and a radio flyer wagon. All of which BB found to be very interesting. Proves it doesn't take much to entertain little ones and the old school stuff is still great!
A toddler dream! Put the clothespins in, then dump them out!
This museum has such breathtaking windows, and one of them perfectly faces the State Capitol. Cool.
