Review: Serendipity! We drove all the way to Maple Grove to play at the "Rainbow Park" which we've been to about 3 times, but upon parking and getting out after our 30 minute drive there, we found out it was still closed for the season. Booooooo! So I quickly googled other parks in Maple Grove so we didn't waste that 30 minute drive to suburbia and found this place, not knowing that it would be perhaps the coolest playground in Minnesota! I loved how they had areas for the really little ones (like ages 1-3) and just a ton of variety for bigger kids to pick from. There was a lot of variation in the terrain, too, making it feel more like a wilderness experience vs. a flat playground in suburbia. The all-look-same townhomes reminded you that you were in the burbs, but with a park like this, I didn't care! And after a few hours of playing, it's easy to find a ton of restaurants in Maple Grove just 5 minutes away. The pictures speak for themselves, so see below.
