Review: We went on a gorgeous 81 degrees day in mid October. Lots of people, as we expected. I was happy to see some playground equipment which was nice in the beginning before the crowds of people thickened. The random goats were underwhelming, and the hayride was fine. As an adult I enjoyed the retail area where I tempted myself with everything from apple turnovers, apple pie, apple brats, apple salsa, apple jam, apple slices with caramel, apple cider, and so on. I finally settled on the apple brat and apple cider and was happy with both. Yum! Our little one enjoyed running about the open orchard area and vineyards. He liked the playground equipment too before it got too crowded! All in all a nice day out, but I doubt we’d rush to return anytime soon. It’s kind of one of those “tried it and had fun once a year” kind of places.
